Another fairly soupy week this week. After a run a few days ago where the wind was roaring in my ears and freezing my face, I started to feel a bit of a steady headache. This evening I feel like I’m on the verge of a runny nose. I’ve been drinking nettle, marshmallow root and leaf, yarrow and burdock root tea, which makes me feel enormously better!
This week I’m making:
- Raspberry Oatmeal Scones for bunch with friends
- Lemon Lentil Soup
- Roasted Cauliflower Soup
- Roasted Potato Salad with Chili Vinaigrette and Cilantro
- Pasta and Chickpea Soup
- Red Curry Delicata Squash and Tofu
- Parsley and Pumpkin Seed Pesto on roasted vegetables
- Falafel (a new recipe)
- Spicy Red Lentil and Chickpea Stew
Apparently I’m also drawn to chickpeas this week too. Funny how I don’t notice that until I type it up here, despite my already having made a few of these meals this week.
