It’s been such a great visit with Paxye and her family and I’ll be sorry to see it end. Her dh goes home tomorrow but she and the kids are staying for a few more days!

We had a delicious supper at my friend, Robyn’s house. What a lovely shot of my dh and I.
We went for walks down on the waterfront. The kids were inseparable! There is a very large park at one end of the waterfront walk that the kids played at for a good while. I admit I got in there as well for a few runs on the slide.
We went to Cathedral Grove yesterday. It was overcast and rainy in patches but it was all the more beautiful. The parking lots were so crowded but it didn’t seem like many ventured farther than the forty metres to an wooden platform looking into the grove. The path that looped around was short but looked longer on the offered map so it was a lot more quiet when we got walking.
We went swimming a our local aquatic centre today and the kids had so much fun. There’s a pirate ship, wave pool, river feature, hot tub, water slides and more. They were all thoroughly tired after a few hours of water play.
