Happy 40th Birthday

I was telling you in the last post that we celebrated Father’s Day with Chocolate Strawberry Shortcake on Cam’s birthday and waited the next night to properly celebrate Cam’s 40th birthday. I made Black Bean and Yam Burritos and Lemon Poppy Seed Cake with Lemon Butter Cream Frosting with fresh picked heartsease adorning the top of the cake.

We also enjoyed a letter and old photos from Cam’s best friend who lives across the province from us. Another friend put together a slide show of all our combined photos. It was really quite touching.
