I’ve been finding myself busy these days. I’m still decompressing from a visit with my mother but I thought I’d share a bit of what we’ve been up to.
I’ve been sewing a little and will more once I get a shipment of batting and thread:
Spending time in the kitchen with friends canning peaches and eating brownies:
Enjoying some great weather, warm and sunny but also rainy and lush green:
Exploring more local history:
Watching Cam build and spending time with friends:
I’m hoping to do some more sewing and quilting and I’d like to get out for more walks than I have been in the last while. I really need to fully embrace the willingness to get out even in the hard rain. I wonder what that would look like with the two kids- if they would enjoy walking or would rather be pushed in the covered stroller. The latter might be nicer for me to get some exercise but the former better for exploring. It seems we each need a little of both.
I’ve been rather delinquent with my posting weekly meal plans. I’ve been making them, just not taking the time to post them. Thanks for mentioning it, Lisa! I’m driven to make the effort to share. I will be making a new meal plan today or tomorrow!
looks and sounds like a perfect way to be passing your days.
can I come up and help you can and eat brownies?!!
sweet! It looks like you’re doing all of the good things. I love that you’re starting another quilt in fabrics that look just as I’d imagine you would choose. I’m not sure how you find such beauties but nice work and happy sewing. I look forward to seeing the finished product!
No pressure Annie, but you really do inspire me to cook. I love to cook when it involves fresh veggies and beans!
I have such a romantic vision of PRI because of your beautiful posts. May be a little on the chilly and rainy side but so beautiful and fresh.
Those blue eyes on that boy are amazing! He looks a lot like your hubby doesn’t he?
Take care friend, Lisa :)
Just saw your empathy poster on ohdeedoh! Learning about feelings is one of my biggest priorities in parenting… processing them, expressing them, and respecting them. Thank you. Cheers, Natalie.
