I love these classic kid shots. Twenty years from now they’ll be remembering this day and seeing how much each other have changed, or stayed the same over the years.
Ran errands in the city and ended up getting my hair cut! We were able to pop in for a quick last minute visit with wonderful friends on the way to a work supply store we had to go to. I regret that we didn’t get to see everyone we know and care about in Victoria. (Lindsay and Kyrie, I wish things had worked out better and we could have planned something. We ended up having to drop off the travel trailer before we could head down island making our time extremely short.)
A little taste of our after supper entertainment at friend’s in Lake Cowichan.
Of course it’s important to dress for such occasions as band practice. How elegant.
I wish I had people coming to my house to practice their music. Leif was dancing up on the balcony with Cam and the Lily was shyly curious. Real life music is something I’d like to have more in our lives.
Maddie started piano lessons this year, and I love listening to her practice. She’s getting better at playing all the time – it’s so much fun!
Thanks again for coming down and bringing lunch… it was so great to visit even for a short bit. Cam really should have taken ALL those dark chocolate covered almonds away though, I ate way too many!
What fun! I’m sorry we missed you Annie. I was hoping maybe to get up to Nanaimo or something before you left but with Kris’ surgery and everything else I haven’t been able to get away. I hope to see you next time you visit down here though.
Aww, too bad that we couldn’t get together! Looks like you had a great time though, and I love the haircut! I guess you guys won’t be here again for a while, so I wish you all the best with your move and I hope you LOVE your new city. I can’t wait to see all the pictures from the new place.
PS Can you give me your new address? Sometimes I find/see things that remind me of Lily…
