Leif’s been sick for the last couple days and has been cuddled in my or Cam’s arms the whole time. I woke up in the middle of the night on Sunday wondering if Leif was going to be sick. He wasn’t doing anything to confirm my out-of-the-blue concern but in the morning he promptly threw up. I’m guessing I could smell his sickness coming on.
Yesterday was a little worst and included diarrhoea. Poor boy nursed and slept on me all day. Last night he didn’t throw up at all but did have to have two big diarrhoea poops. While they were fairly immediate he was still able to tell me so I could get him to the toilet instead of going in his underpants. Thank goodness!
Lily has been feeling fine so I took her to her last swimming lesson today while Leif stayed cuddled with Cam on the couch. Lily passed the Swimming Salmon level but the highlight was her jumping off the diving board without a life jacket or noodle in her arms. My heart was in my throat the whole time and I think I even gasped aloud when she jumped! Lily starts Water Whales in the new year and already looking forward to that!
It’s snowing again and I’m loving it. It’s beautiful and makes us want to stay in an enjoy ourselves. If Leif continues to feel better throughout the day I think I’ll pull a puzzle out to work on.
Hope everyone is doing well!
Here’s a couple older pictures of Leif helping me cook. This boy loves to be in the kitchen.
Poor kiddo!!
He is so cute though!
Yay for Lily jumping off the diving board!! So cool!!
I’ve been meaning to ask you what it’s like with the snow! That’s so awesome about Lily too!!
yech! Here’s hoping the rest of you are immune. And way to go Lily! I think we’re going to have to go to the pool the next time we visit….
The snow has been so much fun. I’m really enjoying it! I just wrote a post about this afternoon!
L- I hope we’re immune too! Of course I worry that we haven’t had enough sleep helping Leif at night and that will help us get sick but so far so good. We’ll just keep eating the best we can and get a good sleep tonight.
I keep saying it but I look forward to your next visit. I have that sewing machine ready for you too.
Oh goodie! One day we’ll be closer… hopefully BEFORE you have to leave.
sorry to hear Leif is sick- my 2 youngest have been sick too but only with fevers. poor little guys!
Oh Sarah! I hope your little ones are all better by now!
