Cam arrived home this weekend after two months across the country for work!
The kids completely overwhelmed him as he stepped off the airport bus. I only snapped two pictures before seeing him myself and helping move them forward to give more people room to get off the bus.
We talked to Cam every night on skype but the place he was staying wouldn’t allow him to receive our video feed so it’d been a long time since he’d really seen us!
After a quick lunch at home, we went out for a walk through one of the green belts in town and then to the nearby ball diamond where I’ve been taking the dogs and kids for easy play and exercise. The day before Lily and I’d made a not so typical snowman. The rolled snow balls were big enough that I couldn’t lift them so we ended up designing our snowman to be falling down instead. Cam helped right him this day and he turned out much more normal looking. It’s so good to have him home again.
I have a feeling life with Kep will start looking a lot like this:

Yay! Cam is home? Funny, Perry just asked yesterday at the dinner table when he was coming back. It seems like that time flew- but probably not for you! Say hi for us!
Yay, so glad for you all! I have a hard time sometimes if Kris just gets off work late. What a great shot at the bus. That must just about sum up how everyone felt.

I can only imagine how great it must feel to have everything fall back into place, and for Cam to “be there” whether it’s to raise a snowman or just to hang and chat with about the regular goings-on of the day while making dinner. So happy for you all, mama!
