I was just thinking of you guys today and kicking myself for not mentioning it with your Christmas card. Darn it!
And wow, those photos bring back memories. It’s so too bad that you lost the dress but do you still have those shiny new birks?
Cranbrook was good and your wedding party the following weekend was pretty sweet too!
Many happy thoughts to you…
hold each other strong : )
Aw, congratulations to you Annie! Love the pictures.
This rocks! Congrats to you guys!!
Happy Anniversary Annie and Cam.
Love the pictues. Especially the one of you hamming it up. :)
Here’s to a lifetime of love and happiness.
xoxo
Aw, those are such sweet photos!
I was surprised to notice I felt sad when I read that you had lost that dress. I think it’s because you made it. How wonderful, and beautiful.
At least you still have the husband. ;)
Blessings to you both, and the kids!
Happy, happy Anniversary Annie and Cam. Ten looks amazing on you both! And here’s to 10 X 10 more!!! Loved the simplicity of your wedding. I wish i’d had the courage to keep it simple. I didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings by having a small wedding. Argh. How differently I’d do it today!!
We hit 10 this August too. I think it can be a year of challenges, like your last post touched on. We go through many ups and all-over-the-places, and this year has been very trying. More work for me to do. He’s doing his, too which is awesome.
Happy 10 years!
Oh wow! Sweet! So close to our own 10 years! I love that you got married by “a woman named Kitty”
Congratulations.
Thanks for all the sweet comments!
L- I don’t have those berks still. Can you believe it? I still buy a new pair almost every year because I wear them out. Those were bought new before the wedding but they weren’t real leather and didn’t last as long as my usual pair I wear.
Stacy- I was and still am sometimes sad when I think about the lost dress, especially because it was lost with a few other “special” items I’d put away. I try and remember just that- that at least I still have the husband! Ha. This is another thing in my life that I’m practising acceptance about.
Erin- Cam and I were lucky to have the wedding we wanted. My mother in law kept suggesting more than I was interested in, like music while walking in to Cam or… We walked in together and kept it quick.
We actually renewed our vows at five years and I wore a long black skirt with a beautiful white blouse and high heels (!!) of all things. It was lovely and short too.
I wish you were able to have a wedding that would have suited you better too! Perhaps you just need to renew your vows one of these years and do just that!
Shannon- We’ll have to celebrate our mutual 10 years this New Years!
I picked that woman *because* her name was Kitty! She was the sweetest thing, widowed and living in Kimberley and marrying people to make a little extra money. She had trouble driving in the snow and we thought she wouldn’t make it! We had to go pick her up so as not to cancel the wedding. It was a close call.
Hurray! Happy 10th to you both. You guys are a precious couple and it’s inspiring to see love like this. Many happy days ahead, I’m sure! xoxo
happy anniversary!
wow, december is a busy month for your family :)
Happy Anniversary to both of you!!! :)
Lovely, lovely photos. :)
Wow, a decade of marriage. Congratulations!
I love your pics, just shows you don’t need to blow a year’s salary to make a celebration special. It looks very romantic. ;)
Happy Anniversary you two! Those pictures are so sweet! Hugs to you both.
Happy anniversary!!!
Happy Anniversary. *love* that you got married in Birks. :)
happy anniversary- that’s my bday also!
