I’m rather behind in my blogging.
So much to say, so little time to type.
As cliché as that sounds it’s precisely what’s going on around here lately. I’m still working on my 365 Day Gratitude Photo Project so I make time to snap at least one shot and upload it.
Having a little fun with our still new chalkboard. Love it, by the way.
Finally finished Lily’s crown. She loves it and wears it often and I’m so pleased!
Folded stars. I sure love to make these and they really brighten our days! Could do a tutorial but Katie’s is so great.
The great pretender. I’m loving how he’s growing up and changing.
Fun wet felting jingly balls. Lisa happened to do a post about these right before we made them. It’s worth a check out if you’d like to make some too. (They’re not just for cats!)
I’ve also changed up some of my favourite blogs in my sidebar. I follow too many blogs to share all here so I’ll change them from time to time. Check them out!
Vervy- Snazzy-Jazzy are the words that came to my mind looking at this post.

So many beautiful things! I too would want to wear the crown all the time if I had one that was so lovely :-)
I am speechless by the crown! It’s gorgeous Annie! Love the winking owl.
Love the family portrait in chalk too.

Wonderful post Annie! Lovin’ Lily’s crown… amazing!
I know what you mean about the time… so hard to find it but if I had more my list would just grow! :)
Wow that crown is so lovely! I love the way it is thick with embroidery- really nice. Thanks for mentioning my window stars tutorial- today is our first day in Kentucky when it really looks like cold November- I need to break out my kite paper and make a few more!
the crown is so lovely! i would never take it off! and the balls, it was the first things i made, they became my puppies favorite now she is 120 lbds and still loves them- i love them to you can always find me playing wiith on!
Such beauty! The crown is incredible. Just so lovely. Did you stitch the fabric to some felt? And I’ve seen those windowstars before, but this is inspiring me to make some. Where did you get the kite paper? And Leify is so cute there in the rocking chair. Hugs to all of you!
Thanks all for the kind words! ♥
I totally thought of you Lisa when I did that owl. The eyes just weren’t as even as I’d like when I was embroidering them so I made a wink instead.
I think I bought this kite paper at Maple Rose. http://www.maplerose.ca/product_p/as-pa-kite%20paper.htm
No wonder you’re feeling behind with the blogging, you’ve been so busy! What lovely projects, we’ll definitely be doing some of these things. Lily’s crown is stunning.
I am feeling a bit snowed under with all the things I should be doing. My to do list is so massive. I’m behind on my blogging too. I’m glad to know I’m in good company!
i love the crown and the picture of Leif- so sweet. and i think i’ve been doing about 1 post a week lately- pathetic! i hear ya!
