So we made a verbal offer this afternoon. I’m pretty hopeful but not holding my breath. You’ll have to hold yours though because I don’t think I can bear to mention it here in detail without knowing if it’s even a possible deal. Unfortunately the sellers seems to be holding onto the belief that their house is worth X without considering what market value places it at. It’s been for sale for over a year and I think we’ve made the best offer they’ve received so far. We believe our offer is what the house is worth.

Cross your fingers for us!

The other possible choices need some work right off the bat. Something we could do but not what we really want to.

Gah! I hate waiting! We think we’ll hear by tonight or tomorrow morning.

Man oh man, the waiting game. It’s still pretty fresh for us just having bought, as you know, so I can really relate. It’s nerve wracking all that wondering! I do hope you’ve been able to find lots of great stuff to do to make that waiting time go a bit faster. I loved your last post and am so thrilled you’ve gotten a taste of the community and the surrounding nature so soon already! PR looks like it’s got some great merits, no matter the weather, huh? Here’s hoping the owners of the house you want come to their senses and come down closer to market value… We’re thinking of and missing you all!

So hope you get it. Sounds promising. They may well realise they have to be realistic in the current climate. Impressed by your speed! You must like it up there (over there!) xx
