We had a lot of visiting to do while we were in Vancouver and only really got out for one real walk. Vancouver was incredibly foggy while we were there. It was beautiful with the crisp cool air, especially down by the water but it did get a bit chilly for the kids so we didn’t go as far as we would have liked.

Feeding the birds at Granville Island. We can’t not do this whenever we come to town. You can buy seed for $1 inside at one of the stalls.

I wish this family picture wasn’t so weird. My dad’s wife took it so I don’t know what happened to it. As you can see, Leif has a preoccupation with chewing his collar or sleeve these days.

Walking to Vanier Park from Granville Island. Still foggy! I love the fishing boats on one side and the yachts on the other.

Huge eagle’s nest in Vanier Park. My dad insists that Cam, the kids and I could lay down in that nest, it’s so big. I’m not sure about that but it sure did look huge from the ground!

I love the first fishing boat and yacht picture-It almost looks like a painting with the fog.

I wish I didn’t just have a point and shoot camera because it was really quite beautiful! I totally thought it looked like a painting too but irl it was much more sharp!

  3. What lovely photos! The misty bridge, the misty tree and plenty of misty boats. I love it! I have yet to walk around there in the daylight as an adult… Oh how I long to be close. This not knowing quite where we’ll be is kind of frustrating but the fact that we’re going will have to suffice for now.
