The promise of berry picking

The Bad News is that I’ve been inundated with many hundreds of spam registrations on my blog the last few days. It’s so bad that I haven’t even wanted to look at the computer or my email because of it. Hopefully the plug in I just installed will take care of this problem. So far so good.

The Good News I wanted to share is an update on how Cam’s foot is healing after suffering a terrible burn and following infection. I had updated in the original post’s comments that the infection was finally under control and now the situation is looking even better. He had to go to the hospital to have the burn looked at from time to time and they were exceedingly happy with how it was healing each time they saw him. He’s healing much faster than they expected! He was able to wear shoes weeks sooner than the best case scenario, which means he’s back at work and life is almost back to normal.

I wanted to take a moment and thank you all for the support and kind words during this stressful time! Particular thanks to my friend Greenteacher (G) for sending a bottle of Emu Oil for the inflammation and scarring of Cam’s burn. We absolutely love it! I’m going to be blogging more about this oil soon!

Colloidal Silver 20 ppm is also used for burns and infection. Found it Health Stores. If you are lucky, try to find it at 20ppm, the government came down on it changing it to 10ppm.

I’ve never heard of emu oil…can’t wait to hear about it when you get to it.

Bummer about the spam…hope you are successful with the plug-in.

mb- I have askimet and it’s been great for spam comments but I’m now trying one called User Spam Remover. Hopefully it will be the right plugin to fix the problem. I wish there was some kind of way to make spamming stop!
