Garbanzos are flowering!

Flowering tomatilloes

It’s raining. It’s pouring and I’d like to remember sunnier days in my beautiful garden. I’m hopeful that the week will turn around and we see the sun again!

Do you have grey skies and rain too or is it warm (hot?) and sunny?

I just love all of the green and purple. So pretty :) We’ve had a terrible bout of clouds, rain and wind for what seems like forever. Yesterday it perked up and was actually quite nice but we’re back to pouring rain and wind again. It was definitely a wet June and so far July is looking that way to *grin*. Hope you get some of the sunshine back again!

Beautiful! Very similar to what’s going on here. We have some amazing white foxgloves here!

Hot hot hot and sunny. But if it is any consolation we had a brief summer rainstorm yesterday. It left that rain-on -hot-pavement smell mixed with jasmine and provided instant relief from the heavy atmostphere. Yum. And that is what you get from your Spanish audience! Coastal green Prince Rupert seems so far away.

Oh, what lovely lovely green and purple…
It’s HOT and sunny where I am. 44C with humidex. Bordering on too hot, even for me, but I’m not complaining yet. :)

    Oh…such beauty, Annie.

Right now we are in the middle of a heat wave – 30 feeling like 39. It makes me grumpy…but the tomataoes are LOVING it. :)

It’s cold and raining…..but it is winter here so I guess that’s no consolation! Enjoy what warmth and light you have.

It has been freezing and rainy here for way too long. I’m ready for some sun! Great photos. I love tomatillas!

I can barely imagine hotter weather than 20’C. It’s a hot sunny day today but still only 14’C!! Even though the garden would love the heat, I’m enjoying feeling at ease in the day. I hate hot hot weather.

All of you over 30’C have my sincere sympathies. I’d send you some mild cool weather if I could!
