Gifts
Was it my birthday two days ago? It certainly felt like it.
I had an extraordinary visit with a friend that that gave me some fresh perspective on life and personal choice. She’s actually heading out of town for a time and has offered to leave her small library of books here for the kids and me to enjoy. Looking through the two big fruit boxes, I was pleasantly surprised at how similar our tastes are and yet I didn’t recognise most of the books. I can’t wait to read them…
I thought I’d share a few pictures of some of them. Lily and Leif have been spending many quiet moments looking through pictured ones or asking to be read to. We’re all kids in a candy shop at the moment.
All this got me thinking of gratitude and we started a project yesterday that I can’t wait to post about… Coming soon…

Oui fine stash of reads indeed! If I weren’t typing and nursing at the same time i would talk more about some of those juicy titles!
